Wilmington, NC – [July 29 2025] — A new independent action film is storming onto the scene with the raw energy of a war story and the heart of a brotherhood forged in fire. Shadow Company, written and directed by Darrell Rackley, is a modern-day vigilante tale with deep roots in the Vietnam War—tapping into the legacy, loyalty, and lethal skillsets of America’s most battle-hardened heroes.

Blending sharp dialogue, explosive sequences, and a dose of gritty humor, Shadow Company follows a group of aging Special Forces veterans who reunite to take a stand against rising crime in their hometown. What begins as a quiet return to civilian life erupts into a guerrilla-style campaign against corruption, violence, and the decay of their community.

Principal photography is set to begin next month in North Carolina, with a talented crew capturing the film’s grounded yet stylized aesthetic. David C. McMullen serves as Director of Photography, bringing a cinematic edge and visual intensity that honors both the legacy of classic war films and the pulse of modern street action.
